GWQC has a strong and experienced research and development team. The R&D team is led by a group of seasoned senior engineers. The department currently has over 30 engineers including professionals that are experts in turnouts and castings. GWQC has established itself in the industry through its proven techniques in design, production, technology, research and quality systems. GWQC has obtained eight utility model patents, one invention patent, and numerous R&D projects. GWOC has been awarded the following accolades: "National High-Tech Enterprise', and 'Municipal Engineering Technology research Center'. In March 2018, GWQC's design of turnouts won the title of Major Technical Equipment Products in Key Fields of Hebei Province', In October of 2018 GWQC was rated as a Provincial Level Scientific and Technological Enterprise.
